A GOODNIGHT WISH by Fiteri Salim
It is cold, I’m cold,
This wilderness of love I can no longer hold,
This heart shrinks every time being told,
Of the fairy tale from a goodnight wish,
That you unfold.
No other words could fulfill this desire,
Which holds the ice together even in fire,
Love it is, I think, of you, no other,
Would you grant my wish this night?
I wonder.
Let me dream of a river and the tranquility flows,
Of the living and the dead and how memories grow,
At the end of the episode, you may whisper, slow,
The words that I long for,
Then let me go.
